// About

Ekintech was originally a site that I had started in order to store photos since my original storage point, Sony Imagestation was shut down. Over time it seemed that storage was becoming cheaper and cheaper and that online storage didn’t seem to be necessary anymore. After surfing into fellow blogger and friend, Kenny Mah’s blog I decided it was time to create my own presense on the web… something I’ve been wanting to do for a long while.

The Ekintech project now is quite different from its original intent. I have two sites that represent me- this one which I call “black version” is a delve into the emo and dark side of me. It is on Ekintech which I will attempt to explore deep internal issues as well as my personal experiences and issues on dating, love and sex. (I don’t write about every experience I have-  just the ones I deem would be interesting to readers.) My other site, the “white version” is more on the superficial side in the sense that it advertises my real name as a brand (whereas Ekintech advertises my online nickname as a brand) and that it delves in “on the surface” things such as my hobbies, my music and my drawings.

To be honest, at the start of the creation of this place I was thinking to create this site completely from HTML to really personalize and give it personality. However, efficiency of content display gave way to my ultimate switch to a CMS. This website will perpetually be a work in progress and I hope that alongside my work and other projects, this site can remain true to it’s intent in every factor- style, content and meaning.
